Aishwarya Rai, Rajinikant Enthiran crew shooting at VIT, Vellore

Recently, director Shankar completed a shooting schedule for Endhiran (also referred to as Enthiran and The Robot) in the verdant campus of Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore (VIT). After many year Superstar Rajinikanth once again coming for a film shooting in Vellore region Tamilnadu. Superstar Rajinikanth, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan with Director Shankar and the entire crew shot some sequences at the premises of Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) near the Katpadi railway station. And as always, he successfully followed the “stealth policy”! The VIT shooting schedule was kept under wraps and no one from the media got wind of it. It was completed even while mediapersons were trying to “extract” news about the Endhiran shooting at Ennore. But the crew apparently vanished from Ennore one day and surfaced at the VIT campus on Christmas eve!

As usual, no one had a clue as to what was going on in VIT. Shankar and his crew arrived on December 24th to make all the arrangements; Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai arrived next day at 8:00 a.m. and the shooting took place amidst tight security. It is heard that the crew held its filming in “Technology Tower”, a building considered one of the structural marvels of VIT, a jewel in its crown. After knowing that the “Endhiran the Robot” shooting was made there were more than 10,000 people crowded around the spot to watch their Thalaivar Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachcchan. The shooting spot was overcrowded with fans and the policemen had a tough time to manage them. Both the celebrities were rested at VIT luxury guest house.
